Smoking is permitted in nine doorless smoking rooms throughout the airport, as well as in nine restaurants and bars. According to the Clark County Department of Aviation, many of the smoking rooms are not even equipped with separate ventilation systems.

Smoking restrictions come early to McCarran Airport The day after a district court judge ruled Nevada's ban on smoking will stand, places all over Clark County are making changes. That includes McCarran Airport, where there's no smoking allowed inside anymore. From now on you'll only be able to smoke outside, and not just anywhere outside. There are about a dozen designated smoking areas outside and airport officials say you can't leave those spots if you're smoking.
